Trackers
It fits in two sentences: estimios.be sets two cookies, and only if you have clicked « Accept ». They serve to count visits, nothing else — no advertising, no resale, no tracking from one site to the next.
Version 4 — 3 octobre 2026
A cookie is a small file that a site places on your device and can read again on later visits. Some are necessary for the site to work (keeping a session open, remembering a basket), others serve to measure the audience or to track you for advertising. Only the first kind may be set without your consent.
The same reasoning applies to related techniques: local storage, invisible pixels, browser fingerprinting. This document covers them all.
Nothing at all until you have answered. The banner loads no Google script before your answer — it only creates one after an « Accept ». A refusal, or no answer at all, leaves your device exactly as it was.
If you accept, two cookies are set by Google Analytics:
Whatever you answer, one line of memory in your browser is added: your answer itself, so the question is not asked again on every page. It reads « yes » or « no », it holds nothing else, and it is never sent to us — it does not leave your device.
You can check all of this without taking our word for it: open your browser’s developer tools, tab « Application » or « Storage ». Before your answer, and after a refusal, the list of cookies is empty.
Refusing must be as easy as accepting, and stay that way. That is why the two buttons on the banner have the same size and the same weight, and why you can change your mind at any time, right here.
You have not answered the banner yet.
The button reopens the banner. A refusal takes effect immediately: nothing more is sent from the next page onwards. Clearing the site data in your browser resets the choice, and the banner will appear again.
For one reason only: to know which pages are read, and which are not. The site publishes close to a thousand of them — prices by municipality, observatory, price trends — and without measurement nothing tells us which ones actually serve anyone.
What we do not do, and what will not change without this document saying so first:
The site’s content security policy allows, by name, only the Google addresses this measurement needs. Any other tracker, added by accident, would be blocked by the browser — not merely discouraged.
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies: look for « Privacy » or « Browsing data » in its settings. Blocking cookies changes nothing about how estimios.be works: the valuation, the price pages and the observatory display and compute exactly the same.
The measurement is carried out by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), acting on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the United States, to Google LLC.
That transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, together with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. It is the only transfer outside the European Union that this site causes; the site itself and its programming interface are hosted in France.
Google Analytics does not keep your IP address: it is used to derive the country and region, then discarded. Measurement data is kept for fourteen months, after which Google deletes it.
What becomes of data you give us of your own accord — your contact details, when you ask for a valuation on site — is described in the privacy policy.
This policy may change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the document. For any question: hello@nextbrain.be.
We would like to know which pages are read, so we can improve the site. This sets a Google Analytics cookie. You may refuse: the site works exactly the same.
No advertising, no resale.
